I was cooking this wedding in a private home that was like a cross between a farmhouse and a multiple room mansion. Everyone was eating dinner- there were about a 100 guests, when the entertainment started. It was Kirstie Alley and her country band. Turns out she had lost a bunch of weight and restarted her career– as an old school country singer. Once she started singing people started to get up and spontaneously square dance– just leaving their meals before they were finished.
Unfortunately, because of injuries she had sustained during her dancing with the stars stint, she had to sit while she sang, on a huge, sequined beanbag.
